Introducing unda HOVER, a next-generation setta sneaker featuring goyemon’s newly developed thin full-length air sole. This innovative sole incorporates a full-length air structure that delivers consistent cushioning across the entire footbed, while maintaining a slim profile that stays true to the traditional aesthetics of the setta.
Each step offers a subtle floating sensation—light, responsive, and effortless—embodying goyemon’s ideal fusion of beauty and lightness.
The upper material is changed based on the standard model of "unda".
By reproducing the texture of the standard model and adopting the originally developed fabric knitted with 100% nylon thread, the durability is strongly improved against abrasion.
As the name suggests, it has become a "TOUGH" model.
“ unda ”
Japanese design firm goyemon has reinterpreted the traditional woven bamboo sandal, the “Setta“, and introduced modern technology to make them more comfortable to wear.
Invented in the 16th century, the setta is meant to be worn under poor weather conditions. Attached to the sole of the traditional footwear is a layer of leather which helps to keep the feet away from puddles and snow. Dubbed “Unda,” the modernized version features cushioned footbeds and midsole bubble units serving to buffer the strain from walking while logo-appliqued tags detail the heels.
